Winery

The first wines from this winery appeared in 1985. They emerged with the intention of becoming one of the best Rioja wines. The raw material, the methods used and the care taken in all the stages of wine production leads us to believe that this will indeed be the case: old vines (more than 30 years old and native varieties) are used with careful harvesting of grapes in 18-20 kg crates and small capacity transporters to prevent them being damaged, with subsequent bunch by bunch selection at the winery, controlled fermentation with very frequent testing (twice a day), daily tasting and transfer of the unfiltered wine to the barrels. If the wine does not comply with the strict parameters of the winery, it is sold in the barrel and is not bottled.
The winery was certified in 2005 to the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 standard for the design, production and ageing of wines with the Rioja Appellation of Origin.
